Drug Addiction is a situation where a significant number of citizens - mostly youths - are becoming addicted to hard drugs, upsetting Parents, raising the Crime rate, and causing a drop in the average Lifespan and Productivity.

The main cause of drug addiction are permissive laws regarding Narcotics and rampant Unemployment convincing people to turn to drugs. Curtailing drug laws or reducing unemployment can help reduce the number of addicts, as can having a highly paid Police Force or a well-funded State Health Service.
